We are delighted to welcome nutritionist Courtnay Mecca to the Inspire IM team! Courtnay is a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN), and a member of the American Nutrition Association (ANA). Her expertise will support our integrated approach to your overall health, working alongside your primary care provider to incorporate nutritional goals such as weight management, digestive health, and chronic disease support.
Courtnay earned her Masters Degree of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health after a previous career in civil engineering. As a functional and integrative nutritionist, she uses evidence-based practices to look at the root cause and addresses the whole person. This includes diet, lifestyle, and mental health. She has a special interest in functional gastrointestinal disorders and mental health. Courtnay is dedicated to partnering with her clients to empower, educate, and help optimize their health and wellness.
In addition to her passion for her career, Courtnay enjoys yoga, spending time with her family, exploring nature, and experimenting in the kitchen.
Courtnay will offer in-office and telemedicine consultations on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also look forward to her commentary during our upcoming Food for Life virtual cooking demonstrations, which will return in the new year.
